Spy3D collaborated with Cineplex for their 100th Year Anniversary with a mini-film now playing in Canadian theatres nation-wide.
The Cineplex mini-film was fully serviced by Spy3D to invent an immersive and emotional audio-visual experience that solidifies Cineplex as the leader in presenting innovative filming and art.
Directed by Arev Manoukian of Spy Films, the mini-film took months of arduous labors with an all-Canadian team that sought to develop the most epic, iconic title sequence ever seen on the big screen for Cineplex’s 100 years of film.
"I wanted to use the aircraft as an iconic film element and evolve it through time and space," says Manoukian. "Creating an emotional yet visceral journey"
The 3D stereography was done by Spy3D stereographer Brent Robinson. Brent’s extensive experience helped carve a flawless 3D experience that was both comfortable and surprising.
"The idea was to parallel both the history of flight and film" explains Marcus Trulli, Spy3D Executive Producer. "To create a common duality that would act not only as a thrilling experience but also an educational celebration."
